Does Spring Heights offer scholarships?

Yes, and here at Spring Heights, we call them Happy Camperships! Spring Heights recognizes that 25% of all children in West Virginia live in poverty. There is a great need for scholarships in our community. Because of the generosity of our supporters and local churches, we are able to provide scholarships to campers. Spring Heights’ policy is that NO camper will be turned away due to finances. For more information about scholarships, please see the instructional document linked below.  

This year, our Happy Campership form is only available online. Once you have completed your camper's registration, our office will email you a link to our campership application. Please make sure that you click "yes" for the question that says, "I want to put in a Happy Campership Application for my camper," or our office won't know that you need an application.  Once we have received your application, our office will be in touch when the application is approved.

*Things to Note

  • You must follow the steps above in order. Our office will have no way of knowing that you would like a Happy Campership application unless you first register your camper.
  • The Happy Campership form will close on July 20, 2026. This will ensure our office has enough time to finalize your camper’s campership before the last week of camp if that is the week your camper will be attending.

*Refund Policy

Refunds must be requested two weeks before the camp's starting date. The $100 deposit is non-refundable. No refunds will be offered if a camper leaves early for any reason, such as illness, injury, or an inability to abide by the “Spring Heights guidelines for living.”
